I looked out the window the other morning just in time to see a truck that looked just like Lynn's heading out west. I looked at Lynn and said "was that your truck"? He asked me if it had the black boxes on and I hadn't noticed so we didn't worry about it. About an hour later Lynn went out and came back in a second later and said where is my truck? All of our hearts kind of fell to the ground. We looked at each other in disbelief. We were wondering how it could have happened when Lynn remembered that Jake had drove it last and had probably left the keys in the truck. Poor Jake now feeling guilty went and jumped in his truck to see if he could find Lynn's truck. Lynn went over to his parents to see if maybe his Dad had borrowed his truck. Grandma said no.... He didn't borrow your truck he used Randy's and went out to the farm. Well Jake had used Randy's to try to go find the truck so after all is said and done Grandpa was the culprit who stole Lynn's truck. The funniest part of the story was that Grandpa hadn't noticed that he had borrowed the wrong truck. They are different colors, one is a stick shift and the other is automatic and they are nothing alike. I guess sometimes we get in our routine and don't notice the differences. The only reason Grandpa finally figured it out was when Jake traded Grandpa trucks he noticed where he had parked the truck and it wasn't the same place and then he noticed the tires tracks. Life is good.

Rachel
I have a cousin that lives out in Rachel's mission. She now lives in Mississippi and she loves the missionaries and has wanted to see Rachel sense she has been out on her mission. She called the mission President and received permission to visit Rachel. They had a really good visit. Kathy said Rachel is not shy anymore, they talked and laughed the whole time they were together. Kathy wrote me a little letter telling me how much fun it was. She said "Wow, I’m telling you that I was blessed today. I got to spend the afternoon with two wonderful Missionaries that love the Lord, love their family and love their mission.
It makes me so thankful for missionaries and people like Kathy who will go the extra mile to take care of missionaries. And For missionaries who are willing to go out and do the Lord's work.

Women's conference
Hey women's conference is coming up at the end of this month. Anyone who would like to go is welcome to come with. It's a lot of fun and I love how it fills my bucket and helps put things into priority again. It's also a lot of fun to get with friends and family and get close to them again. It's the 29th and 30 of April Thursday and Friday.
Rebeckah's Hair
Rebeckah had her hair cut. We have loved her long hair, but some mornings it was so difficult to get it all brushed out. Then Lisa and Di had their hair cut and Lynn said to Rebeckah, "don't you want your hair cut short"?. Of course she did so we took her over. I just love it. It's so much easier to do and it is adorable. I wonder why we fought her on her hair for so long. She donated 11 inches to Lots of Love. I will put on pictures if I can figure out how

Conference
Life is always so much easier and so much better when it's going the way you want it go. Down the path where you're happy and you feel comfortable. It's so much easier to be obedient and to be happy as there doesn't seem to be troubles in your life. We are given hard times to appreciate the good times. We all have both but we need to be as happy and have faith and show it as much if times are hard or if times are easy.
As I listened to conference the last couple of days I loved the part where it talked about motherhood and how important it is and the importance of nurturing our children. It doesn't matter if your an aunt, a sister a Mom or a Grandma. They also said we need to keep talking to our children even though it seems like they are not listening.
I loved Sister Beck's talk. She talked a lot about personal revelation. She said We can be bathed in help even through turbulent times. We need to ask , prepare and then forward with Faith. We need to have stronger families, have more faith and be strong and immovable in our faith.
I have been reading the women's conference talks. In 2008 Sister Sheri Dew talk was entitled "Awake, Arise and Come Unto Christ." The way to come out of the World , the way to have maximum righteous influence is to live under the influence of the Holy Ghost. President Kimball foresaw__that we (the relief Society) would be a significant force in both the numerical and spiritual growth of the church in the last day. With the Lord's help and our best effort we will prevail. And although we will make mistakes and get tired and sometimes fall short, our Father sent us now precisely because He knew we would not stop until we got the job done. Jesus can heal us, strengthen us , sanctify us lift us, and redeem us. May we go forth with Faith.

The "Dough-Boy"
As many of you know Jake has been a humble guest in our home since August. He has been working for my dad, and ever since that time we have all been getting fat. All because of our wonderful little guest and his bad habits he brought with him. We used to be a very healthy, skinny, happy, beautiful, curvaceous (Girls only) family. Then we had Jake come into our family and ruined everything. Now we are all fat, unhealthy, ugly, non curvaceous ducklings (except dad has a little bit of a tummy and I think his safety pins are wearing out from trying to hold his tummy in because his buttons popped off). We have eaten more desserts this year than we have our whole lives put together. However, it's becoming an addiction... OOPS! Currently it is 11:45 and Me (Hannah), Jake, Lisa, and Diana are all up awaiting the beautiful sight of freshly baked orange rolls! They are gorgeous if I say so myself. Hopefully they taste as good as they smell, and look.
Hence the name the "Dough Boy" he has infulenced us all to the point we are all just about dough!
